Are You Building For Your Guests?

You decided to build your own house. You are excited about this thought, you’ve already made up your mind, so you are definitely going to do it. All that’s left to do now is to choose a design, a style, some materials and a good team of workers and start building. Things are not as simple as they seem at first sight. Who are you building your house for? you’ll say that for you and your family, of course. Nevertheless, there are many people who want their home to express their personality in the eyes of their guests. So, these people are in fact building for their guests. This is why they need to pay a special attention to very visible elements such as the iron balusters of the stairway, or the tiles and floors in the lobby.

The most important thing when you build your home, is to decide from the very beginning if you are building it for comfort or for shoeing off. This doesn’t necessarily mean that you cannot have both, but you need to take all aspects into consideration before the building is too advanced to change your mind about architecture or design details.
